Location: North Down and Ards Area

Hours: This position may be appointed as either two 18-hour posts, a single 36-hour post, or on a job-share basis, subject to suitable applications.

Salary: £25,178.88 (Pro rata for part time)

 Duration: Fixed Term until 31st March 2028.

Closing date: We are recruiting on a rolling basis and will review applications as they are submitted. Early application is encouraged, as the vacancy will close once a suitable candidate is appointed.

All our roles make a positive impact on the lives of others; the purpose of this role is to:

Provide Tenancy Support Service to a range of clients within the North Down and Ards area, liaising with referral agents within the Northern Ireland Housing Executive and other key stakeholders, and ensuring delivery of person-centred, high-quality support.

Actively representing the values of passion, respect, empathy and openness and transparency, setting, and reinforcing the standard for positive behaviours at all levels.  

The MindWise Competency Framework outlines the behaviours that are essential to effective performance. The Competencies relevant to this role are set at Level 1 and are explained within the Framework.

What we ask for from you:

  • Level 2 Essential Skills in Maths and English or GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English.
  • Able to demonstrate a minimum of 3 to 6 months recent experience, providing housing support to people within the community in a paid or voluntary capacity OR demonstrate a minimum of 6 months experience of providing support in a paid or voluntary capacity in another community or care setting.
  • To be willing to work flexibly which may include days & evenings and participate in the on call rota.
  • NISCC Registration or eligible to be registered from commencement of role.
