MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT WORKER: COMMUNITY (Maternity Cover)

 

Location:  Banbridge/Newry Area

Hours: 35 hours per week

Duration: Fixed Term for 9 months (with possibility of extension)

Starting Salary: £22,840.53

Closing date: 12 noon, Thursday 27th November 2025

 Support and empower people affected by mental health issues live their best lives, underpinned by the recovery model.

 

What we ask for from you:

  • Level 2 Essential Skills in Maths and English or GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English
  • A minimum of 3 to 6 months recent experience, providing support to people with a mental illness either in a paid or voluntary position.
  • NISCC Registration or eligible to be registered from commencement of role
  • The ability to demonstrate alignment with MindWise’s core values of Passion, Respect, Empathy, Togetherness, Openness & Transparency
